You can request the permanent deletion of your Urbanfake account and the data associated with that account.
Recommended method
If you still have access to the app, the fastest and most secure method is to use the in-app option:
**Profile → Delete my account**
This action is available only when you are signed in to your own account. It allows us to automatically verify that you are the account owner before starting the deletion process.
Account deletion request by email
If you no longer have access to the app, if the in-app deletion process fails, or if you want to submit a manual request, you can contact us at:
For security reasons, please send your request from the email address associated with your [APP_NAME] account.
Your message should clearly state that you want to delete your account. You may use the following template:
“I want to permanently delete my Urbanfake account associated with this email address.”
If the request is sent from a different email address than the one associated with the account, we may ask for additional information to verify that you are the account owner. We will not delete an account solely because someone provides an email address.
What happens when your account is deleted
Once deletion is confirmed, your account is permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.
Deletion may include, depending on the data linked to your account:
* your user profile;
* your app account information;
* your posts and content created in the app;
* your comments, or their anonymization / marking as deleted when necessary to preserve discussion consistency;
* your likes, saved items, follows and relationships with other accounts;
* your notifications and notification preferences;
* login tokens and technical identifiers linked to your device;
* cache data or technical data directly associated with your account.
After deletion, you will be signed out of the app. You will not be able to recover this account, its content or its deleted data.
Data that may be temporarily retained
Some information may be retained for a limited period if necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or technical compliance reasons. Such data is retained only when necessary and in accordance with our privacy policy.

Processing time
Deletion requests sent by email are processed after we verify the identity of the requester. The usual processing time is 30 days from the moment we have the information required to confirm that you are the account owner.
